News Round-up June, July & August

News Round-up June, July & August

Dear all,
I have heard the following Zen story.
A martial arts student went to his teacher and said earnestly, “I am devoted to studying your martial system. How long will it take me to master it?”
The teacher’s reply was casual, “Ten years.” Impatiently, the student answered, “But I want to master it faster than that. I will work very hard. I will practice every day, ten or more hours a day if I have to. How long will it take then?”
The teacher thought for a moment, “20 years”.
In life we require Sadhana and Shradha to live a meaningful and successful life. It should be our earnest efforts to see that our students are growing with both qualities which would help them to master the basic skills from School education.
There are many things to share which had happened during the last two months.

Dear Sisters and Brothers, today is the last day of August and it is also last day of the present responsibilities as the Joint Secretary of VKVs in Arunachal Pradesh. I am fortunate enough to be in the land of rising sun for the last 24 years.  Many asked me “Are you leaving Arunachal Pradesh?”  I did not answer to any of them as it was difficult. The two lines of the poem was the answer to myself
“Can you quit a thing that you like a lot?
You may talk of pluck; it’s an easy word…………”
I could experience the snippets of goodness everywhere in Arunachal Pradesh and I consider them as the pearls from the land of rising sun. I am carrying them in my heart and moving on ………….
Wish you all the best for your onward march!
With prayers.
Joint Secretary
Every Nation, every man, every woman, must work out one’s own salvation.  Give them ideas- that are the only help they require, and then the rest must follow as the effect.  Ours is to put the chemicals together, the crystallization comes in the law of nature.  Our duty is to put ideas into their heads, they will do the rest.  This is what is to be done in India.
