News Round-up September 2016

News Round-up September 2016

Greetings from Breezy Meadows on the occasion of Navaratri.
The month of September has seen a lot of festivals and other activities even though the students were all busy with preparations for the SA I examinations.
We were very glad when some Principals informed that they were invited along with other teachers for felicitation on the occasion of the teachers’ Day, 2016bypeople and organizations other than student community. Students of the VKVs,of course, organize grand programs on the occasion of Teacher’s Day to express their indebtedness towards the significant tasks the teachers are performing to groom them as responsible citizens and infuse all the life skills and eternal values.
The accolade which is bestowed on the teachers has been fundamental in the Indian culture from time immemorial. In the modern time, the most conspicuous acknowledgement of teachers in steering the individuals and the society has been found expressed by the most revered Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the former President and renowned Scientist of India. Dr. Kalam was so indebted to his teachers that in umpteen occasions he mentioned their role in molding his life. On one occasion, Dr. Kalam, when asked by the students how he could be so optimistic about the future of the nation amidst all the disheartening occurrences, he pointed out to a mother and a teacher and told “Till they are there, there is no question of doubt”.
When the society relies so much on the teachers, it is our responsibility to come up to the expectations. Let us resolve to give the best to our students.
