Sri K.K. Subramanian,
Science Teacher guided the students to undertake their studies on the above
mentioned topic. Students had a close observation of various animals in the zoo
and collected their scientific informations such as local name, Scientific
name, Habitat, Food habits, Gestation periods, status of the particular animal
in the global level (whether they are endangered or not , geographical location
e.t.c) . in an authentic manner Dr.
SORAM TADAP, Veterniary doctor of the zoo also took a class on management
and maintenance of health of animals in the zoo. Students could learn a lot
from his class. They also understood
their responsibilities and duties to conserve and protect the wild lives in the
forest. During the interaction session students asked many questions and
doubts which were answered by the speaker. He also motivated the students to
pass on the knowledge to their parents, brothers and other villagers in the
state so that this beautiful biodiversity of animals and birds in Arunachal
Pradesh in particular and entire country in general will be conserved
and preserved successfully.
