State level Inter VKV Bhagawad Gita Chanting Competition

The State level Inter VKV Bhagawad Gita Chanting Competition for the VKVs of Arunachal Pradesh was held at VKVAPT, Dibrugarh on the Gita Jayanti day, 13 December, 2013.  A total number of 26 Cluster level winners  from the VKVs  Itanagar, Oyan, Seijosa, Roing, Sher, Shergaon, Bana ,Jairampur ,Nivedita Vihar, Sunpura, Yazali, Vivek Vihar, Tafrogam, Wessang, Joram , Shergaon, Nirjuli participated in the Competition in four categories.   The flawless chanting of the participants bewitched all the listener. A special program on the occasion of Gita Jayanti was also organized at VKVAPT, Dibrugarh from 4 p.m. in which all the students, escort teachers, invited people from Dibrugarh and the staff of VKVAPT attended.  Reverend Yadupati Ram Dasa from ISKCON, Dibrugarh Branch was the chief speaker for the program. He spoke on the need of reading Bhagawad Gita in our life. Su Radha Didi also flashed illumination on the topic.  All the students also chanted the slokas of 13 Chapter of Bhagawad Gita together on the occasion.   The Chief Guest also gave away the prizes to the participants and the winners. In addition to this, Gita Arati was also done on this special occasion.
